Tesla’s Ultra Red is one of the most striking factory colours on the road, with a deep, rich tone that looks different in every light. On the Model Y, Australia’s best-selling car, it’s the colour that makes people turn their heads in the car park.
So when this brand new Ultra Red Model Y rolled in, the owner wanted something that would make it stand out even more while protecting that premium paint from day one. The answer was a full Xpel Stealth paint protection film conversion, finished with our ceramic coating.
Satin is the new gloss!
This Model Y came in for a full Xpel Stealth PPF conversion and ceramic coating. We covered every factory painted surface in Stealth film, transforming the gloss Ultra Red into a smooth, rich satin finish. The colour still pops, but the satin gives it a modern, almost liquid look that you simply can’t get from the factory.
Because the Stealth film is self-healing, light swirls and scratches disappear with heat, and the original Ultra Red paint underneath stays in perfect condition.
We then finished it with our ceramic coating over the top of the PPF, giving it strong hydrophobic properties and making washing and maintenance a whole lot faster and easier.
